AUTUMN IN MY HOME

Summer is gone since a month now and our beautiful memories of those barefoot sandy sunny days are now just framed in pictures. Over here the months of September and October are always followed by heavy rains. That heavy type that is most of the times pretty torrential. So not much time left to play outside these days after school. The sky is often grey and the days are very much gloomy. I like to set into this mood by embracing this season rather than fight it! So let's go crazy with new blankets to snuggle up with, like this new pink HAY Crinkle Throw from Norse Republics , seasonal flowers from your local favourite florist to decorate the house and endless of candle-lit afternoons spent reading books with my favourite little people. To document one of our typical Autumn day, Giorgia chose to wear this amazing outfit, blouse and skirt, from REPOSE.AMS. Beautiful and total in tune with our mood of autumnal coziness; I simply adore the scattered dots patterns all over the outfit, the deep dark blue and the gorgeous tencel fabric, which makes it so soft and also the fact that this fabric is one of the most environmentally friendly regenerated fabrics. I have talked about this dutch label in the past and you can read more here and here.
