ICE CREAM THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY

We threw a little party for our Missy last Sunday who just turned 4 this year. Our theme party was Ice Cream Party.
I think it was the best theme ever for a birthday just at the beginning of the summer! Kids and adults just loved it.

We made our own ice cream at home and bought the cones to fill them with flavours. We had chocolate, vanilla, strawberry (a must for a touch of pink in a girls party) and coffee (for adults).
Then the kids had the option to top their scoops with 4 kinds of sprinkles and chocolate syrup. Yum!

Food menu was quite simple for an afternoon party: baked ham with mustard, little sausages, a variety of cheeses, homemade focaccia bread, Nutella bread, chips and a few of homemade baked pies. And yes my husband and I also baked the birthday cake!!!

The activities were great too. Everyone had a splash into the swimming pool first and I also set up a little paiting station by the pool which added an extra outdoors fun time. Yay!

Hope I have inspired you. :)
